SiamWEB is a non profit organization formed by a group of people who have interest in thailand and its
people. Here, people shares personal contact information, pictures, interesting stories,
and opinion. We help present so called, "voices of
the people" in to an attractive and lively web page. Through various
internet facilities such as irc, newsgroup, and the web, we've helped tighten the
cultural gab, physical distance, and create understanding between people by providing
space for people to communicate/interact with each other. We have evolved into highly
interactive, true thai related on_line community.
We are not here to sell stuff to ya. We are about friends, expressing ideas, sharing
information, enjoying world wide contacts. Wherever we are in the NET, there is always
somthing unique that each of us can contribute to this CyBeR community. As we continue
to expand, you can help us by joining us, sending in your
comments and suggestions or become our sponsor!

"Since
I am a thai raised in HK, the only source I learn more about Thailand is maybe through
my mom or those travelling guide. But hey, I want to know more about it, the real
side, its socio-economic development, its everything you name it. Sources to me had
been so limited until I joined the net recently and found your site through it. Your
site doesn't only provide me with this chance to communicate with people in the country
or those who love the country, but also provide information in a very colorful, vivid
presentation. However, if you can make the text more outstanding from the background,
it would be more readable on screen. Now, I'd like to get back to the site, cheers!!"

"FANTABULOUS!!!
It is the only word I can think of your web site right now. The design are great,
and the links are either useful or fun!. I especially like the Techincal Corner.
It helped me installed Thai fonts and other essen tial programs to use Thai on the
Net. Thanx. Keep up the good work! By the way, I'm a Thai student at University of
North Carolina at Wilmington. There are only 4 Thai students here. Ta ta."

"Hi
there, whoever have been helping creating such this fabulous homepage. I like it
a lot. There is a great deal of interesting information, culture, social, tr avel,
people and internet sources, which is disseminated extensively to all the page's
visitors. Social corner is the section that I like the most. I am able to see to
whoever I have talked or never talked. I think it helps encourage all page's visitors
and novices to believe that irc is real, not just a game, and to learn more about
internet. Also it adds the diversity to visitors' body. Final ly, I wish all of you
good luck and keep it up. bye bye"

| More than anything, SiamWEB provides a stable media that
exist 24 hours a day (hehe if the server don't die ofcourse) for people to learn
about and contact each other. Well, what SiamWEB is varies as much as your interest and how
much you are willing to share with others. In otherword, it is as good as how much
you want to contribute to it. This web site is as much yours as it is ours. We are
about team work. As technology progress, people's way of doing things changes, and
our definition will always change along with it. If you think this is your audience,
then why don't you join
in the fun and be part of this exiting changes! |
