Breakfast at the hut. What a feeling, bird chirping (well, they always chirp, it just amplifies during breakfast ;). Gotta fuel up for our heavy day at the waterfall.
![]()
Left: There we were, reaching our first waterfall, "Nam tok Mai See", there are still many more waterfalls ahead but some of us are tired, and this looks like a great spot to freshen up.
Right: We swam over and dive into the waterfall, man, the impact of
the waterfall when you go under it was quite somthing. The cavity that the fall made is really deep. Most of us tried swimming through it just for thrills.
The beach is call "Hlam+ Sing+". The beach structure changes, it isn't for swiming and playing with wather like it used to be. The water is rather cloudy with sand particles. This beach is there for the atmosphere, to eat, drink, sleep and a stroll.
We brougth the dog from the fruit farm, pepsi, along, it was so exited, ran around like hyperactive squirel. Poor thing, for months it was in a small caged like a bird because everyone at the farm was too busy working.

Monday, before we head back to the ol over congested, over polluted, Bangkok, we went to freshen up, filtering our system at a nice beach call "____". Beautiful, delicate white sand beach. Clear, clean water. The beach is at "Umper Tar^ Mai'". There's a speed boat which will take your to see the corals. The boat cost is ____ bath. You can see the fish through the boat's mirror or go snorkling.
Well folks, after that we headed home. It was a good low cost trip. It helps when we don't need to pay for the hotels! So you might considered going to places where you have a friends or family there as your host, save some $$. There's alot more cool places to go in Thailand, hopefully you will save our curency and travel IN country more. If you do, share with us your trip's story. We'll put it here on SiamWEB social corner!
Hey, better travel soon before everything is polluted ;) Our desparate gov't will
do just about anything to get foreign investment, including registering us as an industrial wasteland ;) See you in the next trip.
Your comments I WANT TO PUPLISH MY PICTURES WITH MY THAI FRIEND ALSO , HOW CAN I DO THAT?

Great page. Thai people, you don't know what ya got. I did some traveling here in the USA recently and it was WAY expensive--cheapest room was $35.71 plus %8.6 sales tax. Train and food was expensive--The only 'Thai-priced' thing was taking the local county bus from Seattle to Tacoma for $2.50. Thai tiaw Thai, na nii dii. But if you want to tiaw Seattle, I could be your guide 'rap jaang' Later, khrap

It seems you had a great time. I have done a bit of travelling in Thailand and I must agree that there are some beautiful places to see and some interesting people to meet. But I will say this, It is the people that make the place. For example I spent some time trvelling by myself and if it wasn't for the people that I met I don't think I would have enjoyed the places so much. One thing I like about Thai people is that they are so willing to help you, give you a bed and something to eat even when the ecconomy is bad. We have a wise saying," it is better to give than receive" and Thai people certainly believe this also. I come from Australia and yes it would be very expensive to travel here at the present time, but if you can make some friends on the net you can cut your cost dramatically. For example when I was in Northern Thailand a good friend drove me around so that I could visit Chiang Mai/Rai, the golden Triangle etc. So if anyone is interested in Travelling down south to Australia drop us a letter and lets chat. I am also keen to learn to read and write Thai. I might even be able to help you improve your English. Good friends are such a blessing. Keep having fun and until next time, Sawasdee Krup. Brett

I just want to let you know how much I enjoyed your story and pictures. I think Thai people need to learn to appreciate natural resources. There are many nice places to visit in Thailand. I am particularly moved about "Temple Fair", it reminds me of how I grew up at Chachaensao many years ago. Last year when I visited Thailand, I went to a temple fair at Thonburi. I love Thailand and hope to visit again. I left Bangkok since I graduated from Chula (Architecture) in 1969. So it has been a long way (and time) from home. Again, thanks for a wonderful story.
