SiamWEB Health Corner: The Author: Dr Chan Joon Yee Chan Joon Yee was born in Singapore in 1964. His first visit to Thailand was a rather reluctant one. He was sent there for training as an army boy in 1984. He has fallen in love with the kingdom eversince. In 1988, he graduated from the National University of Singapore as a dental surgeon. He served in the navy, then started his own practice. In his free-time, he writes for cash as well as interest. He has published 2 novels and one travelogue which was serialised in a local newspaper for several months. He takes care of all the articles on health matters for Teens Magazine and has also done an article on the latest medical technology for MAN Magazine.
