Hot & Sour Shrimp Salad

    Ingredients

  • 1 cup shelled and cleaned shrimp
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped lemongrass
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 shallots or small red onion chopped
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder or fresh chilli
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onion and chinese parsley
  • mint leaves
  • 1 lettuce

    Cook'em!!

  • Using aluminum foil, wrap the shrimp.
  • Place on the burner and cook for 2 minutes on each side.
  • When shrimp is cook unwrap and place in a bowl.
  • Season with fish sauce, lemon juice, garlic salt and chili powder..... mix well
  • Add lemongrass, chopped red onion, chopped green onion and chinese parley, toss lightly.
  • Place mixture on serving plate, top with mints and decorate with lettuce
  • Enjoy it!

Suggesstion: Shrimp can be cook on a grill or in sauce pan with little water. Dont over cook the shrimps.
