Greetings from Osaka, Japan's #2 city. I really like the
site and promise to visit often. I'm really impressed by
the computer literacy of Thailand and the speed in which
the country is becoming wired. Japan is only getting into
gear now. I'm lucky to live around the corner from the only
Thai grocery store in Osaka, so I can get every thing I need
       to make Pad Thai.

       Keep up the good work

Your web page is very very good, best design, graphic and page layout.
Did you do the whole thing by yourself?
Are you currently design for commercial in Thailand?(Especially
Bangkok Bank home page,I LOVE THAT GRAPHIC!)
BUT there is only one that seems lack...is "Your Resume"
I'd like to know more about you...and your school in Ohio.
What are you studying and What activities are you doing in school?
(Because of the picture, you and your professor, make me wondering?

Finally, I think your web page is one of the best that I ever seen.
Keep up your best work! *****,A+.

Since I am a thai raised in HK, the only source I learn
more about Thailand is maybe through my mom or those
travelling guide. But hey, I want to know more about it,
the real side, its socio-economic development,
its everything you name it. Sources to me had been
so limited until I joined the net recently and found
your site through it. Your site doesn't only provide me
with this chance to communicate with people in the country
or those who love the country, but also provide information
in a very colorful, vivid presentation.
However, if you can make the text more outstanding
from the background, it would be more readable on screen.
Now, I'd like to get back to the site, cheers!!

Hi there, whoever have been helping creating such this fabulous homepage. I like
it a lot. There is a great deal of interesting information, culture, social, tr
avel, people and internet sources, which is disseminated extensively to all the
page's visitors. Social corner is the section that I like the most. I am able t
o see to whoever I have talked or never talked. I think it helps encourage all
page's visitors and novices to believe that irc is real, not just a game, and to
learn more about internet. Also it adds the diversity to visitors' body. Final
ly, I wish all of you good luck and keep it up. bye bye

        Hi,

I'm a writer of Dataphile, an Asian On-line magazine published in Hong
Kong, and have interested in writing articles about Internet in Thailand
for the next issue of the magazine.

As a Web server in Thailand, your company is invited to be
included in one of my articles. I will come to Thailand next month and
would like to meet someone from your company in order to ask for some
questions about your company and what you have done so far for the
Internet. Who can I talk to when I arrive at Thailand? Where can we meet
        for the interview?

If possible, I want to meet someone from the government as well in order to
ask for their opinions on the development of Internet in Thailand. Can u
organise this matter for me as well?

Please give me a reply on the above matter as soon as possible (I perfer getting
your reply today or by tomorrow morning). Thanks a lot.

I look forward to hearing from u soon.

       To Putt,

I'm Piyada Davis. I'm in the process of creating a homepage
for the Thai Club in my school. I was wondering how you created your homepage
background(siam web), is it customize? I have a graphic of the golden gate brid
       ge
(greyish), and I want to use it for my background homepage.
I don't want to use the school's default background, they're
too plain. So can you help me out here? I want the image in multiple images,
next to each other. I don't want the one image to be take up the whole backgrou
       nd.
I hope I'm not confusing you? Oh, one more thing, where can I download Thai
fonts? Thank you very much Putt! Piyada =)

Can you suggest me the better ones? What kind of program are you using for

       friend,
Mack, whose real name is Sumatee Manuspiya before I leave, but
I'm having trouble reaching him by phone and I'm afraid the
mail won't get there before I do. He lives in Maung, Saraburi.
(I have his address and telephone number). Can anyone help me
to communicate with him? My real name is David Saia, and
I'm currently living in a Washington, DC suburb. Thanks!

       Sawadee Kup,
My wife Nonglak and child Kanika and I live in Sydney Australia and were very
       excited to find Siam WEB.
We travel back to her village once a year for a couple of months. We go to Nan
province down near Pak Ny Dam Sirikit. It's a beautiful part of the world still
as is all of Thailand. My wife is happy to be living in Australia even though
she misses her family and culture. Australia offers some great opportunities and
she has made friends with both Aussies and other Thai's. There are some great
restaurants in Sydney all nationalities, but the food is expensive 400 bhat per
person if you go to a nice restaurant. Hotels are also expensive especially in
the cities but then it's all relative. Any one coming to Sydney just Email us perhaps
we can help, my wife reads, writes and speaks Thai fluently and her English is
very good although reading and writing is a little laboured. Look forward to
getting some Email. Craig, Nong and Nong Ni, Kanika.

This is my first time to visit this homepage. It's the coolest

time to listen to my bullshit, so I'll go to the point. Like
I said, everything is cool. But when I went to some pages
like the "SiamWEB Guest Book" page, it's so hard to read those
messages. I think you should try to use the lighter background
so that you can read those tiny words easier.

       Good Afternoon:

Now is 1.07 p.m. afternoon in a small city called Encino,
which is in San Fernando Valley -- some 20 miles northwest
of Los Angeles. My name is Peter Srisavasdi, steadfastly
a Thai by birth and culture, and currently a property financing consultant with
First Banker Corporation, 17525 Ventura Boulevard, Encino,
       CA. 91316. Tel. 818-986-1000 ext. 30. Fax: 818-986-2021.
I am a newbie in Cyberspace, but has been practicing surfing on the Internet at
a public library nearby. Therefore, I don't have an e-mail
address for you yet, but would like you to send some information about your
SiamWeb network and organization by mail to my business address.

Why? I have an idea that I would like to put the Los Angeles Thai Community in
touch with SiamWeb, and would like to introduce you to one
of the leading Thai newspaper in the States, namely Sereechai Newspaper, a
       weekly paper subscribed
throughout the States by Thai students and professionals.
I happen to write "Variety Viewpoints" in a weekly column,
and last issue I did write a little about my serendipity in
coming across SiamWeb while surfing the Net.

As you know, Los Angeles is home to UCLA, USC, Cal-Tech,
Cal State U, Claremont, Loyola Marymount, and other leading
U.S. colleges and universities. I hope to write about
SiamWeb in my next column after I have received information
by mail from you, and I feel that Thai students and Thai
professionals, and any interested Thai or Thailand friends
       should get involved with you.

I have a feel that SiamWeb has a lot of creativity, judging
from your Homepages and your sub-menus. So, let's hope that
I will hear from you soon. Thank you.

       Sincerely yours,
       PETER SRISAVASDI

       Pat,

After taking a look at your Web site, we have decided to include it in the
next issue of "The Stick", our monthly Websurfer newsletter. You can expect
to see your Web page listed in the issue that comes out on the 1st of next
       month.

Congratulations on having such a great Web site. We are pretty picky about
what we include in our newsletter, so it just goes to show that yours is one
of the better sites out in Webland. Good job!

If you'd like to check out past issues of our newsletter online, the URL is:
       http://www.vpm.com/tti/stick.html

You can also visit our home page, Terra IncogNETa, at:
       http://www.vpm.com/tti/

If you'd like a small graphic that you can use on your Web page to indicate
that your site has been included in our newsletter, you can get that from
our home page. Of course, not everyone does this, but you are free to do so
       if you like.

Thank you for bringing a touch of excellence to the World Wide Web, and we
hope that you will surf over to our site, too, in the future.

       Dear Riddler's Choice member,

On August 17th, Interactive Imaginations is starting the season for the
Riddler's Choice 10K. This event occurs weekly for a season of ten races.
Sponsors for the event include the Marion Foundation, Netscape
       Communications, and Silicon Graphics.

As a member of the Riddler's Choice community, your page has been selected
as interesting, innovative and intriguing. In order for The Riddler's
Choice 10K to be a success, participation of your site is vital. We have
created the Riddler's Choice 10K to further showcase such pages that make
the Web the most interesting medium of communication.

As a "Choice Page" within the 10K, your page will appear as a navigational
option within the game. Players interpret clues and the interactive script,
selecting the correct "Choice Page" to advance further through the game. As
a "Choice Page" your page is directly involved in the play of the game.

Participation in the Riddler's Choice 10K requires the following.

       1. Your page will be recreated on the Riddler server, in order to not slow
down your site and to ensure access for 10K participants.

       2. The page remains on the site for 1 week's time, and is replaced with the
       start of the new race.

       3. We encourage recreation and adaptation of your pages for the 10K event,
with messages for the participants, and a live link to your original site.

If you would like to be included please let me know. If you would like to
build a custom page etc. let us know as well.

Thanks for participating, and for making Riddler a success.

       Sawasdee krub, Hello!
I'm Prapat Suriyaphol, just a student who's using Internet
in Thailand. I haven't spent much of time looking around
your pages. But I obviously notice that most of pictures
in your pages (except Hanuman pictures) are from Japan ie.
Dr. slam, Dragon Ball, etc. Do you think there are some
ways to put Thai style picture or cartoon there. Most
obvious Thai style cartoon nowaday are in comic books ie.
Kai Huo Rao (Sell laugh). So people'll learn more about
       Thai
       Thank you
       prapat
PS. I'll come back again. My time's up for today. :)

       Dear the SiamWEBlers,
This is the first time that I found out about the siamWEB. I think the pages are
quite interesting, but ther is some problem. I found it quite difficult to read
the text. The problem occurs dute to 2 reasons. One is the size of the text is
quite small, could you make it bigger? Or it was only me who have this problem?
Another reason is the pattern of the wallpaper. I think some pages use the wallp
ater that looks clearer and more attractive than the text. Could you please do
       anything about it?
       Regards,
       Nitchawan
PS-You know, while I am typing this mail, I hardly see what I have typed, becaus
e the text is so small. Please apologise me if I have made mistakes, it is very
        hard to notice them really.

I am an executive recruiter who has been retained by a major international clien
t who is seeking Thai nationals to return from the U.S. for a 3 year contract or
secondment. The co. is Thailand's largest supplier of industrial gases and chem
       icials.
They are seeking professionals in operations, accounting, production, distributi
on, and management. I would like to get resume's from individuals interested in
this opportunity. How would you suggest I get the word out. I have been surfing
        thru this web page and
didn't find anything to which I could contribute. Please email me back or have
any interested individuals contact me at Sanford Rose Associates in Laguna Beach
, CA, phone 714-497-5728, fax 714-497-4086, or email to caorange@aol.com.
Travel and training expenses in addition to a good salary and benefits make thes
e very good jobs for those Thai nationals who wish to return for a minimum 3 yea
r contract. Thanks for your help!

       Regards,
       Bob Dudley

       Hi there,

First of all I must tell you I was very much surpised to
see such a great sanuk page about Thailand.
Having been in Thailand just once, last year, I became addicted
       from the first second on.
Greatest of all was the way people relate to each other.
I still remeber my two friends, with whom I went, being very
suspicious at times where Thais were only friendly or polite.
For me the general Thai attitude was very close to my own character,
so I was like a homecoming.
When I came back in Holland, it took me at least a month to
       get resettled.
Being on the net for just a few weeks, I found your page,
that's a bit like a way to warm your hands in winter, while
waiting to the summer to come back.
There is one thing I miss though. Where love and romance are
concerned, didn't anyone think of spending any attention to
what turns the *same* sex on/off? Especially because Thais seem
to have such a natural way of accepting gatui's in society.
Even for someone coming from the liberal Netherlands (where
people tend moreover to ignore eachother and call this respect)
this was very pleasant to discover.
Also, because I had a very *serious* relationship with a Thai
boyfriend, being in virtual Thailand isn't complete for me
without any mentioning of gay life in Thailand.
Maybe I'm the first to ask?
Maybe anyone is afraid to attract the "filthy persons" (I've
seen a lot of that over there, but they were mostly straight...)
Maybe you've already thought about it, and I'll find something
when I come surfing by later this week...

       Sawadee khrap,
       Maarten de Bruin
       Haarlem
       Netherlands.
