อินเตอร์เน็ตเอ็กพรอเลอร์เวอร์ชั่นนี้เป็นรุ่นที่พัฒนาต่อจากเวอร์ชั่นก่อนหน้านี้ ซึ่งมีสิ่งที่ไหม่ๆ พอสมควรเช่นการสนับสนุนการทำงานหลายภาษาในตัวเอง (ไม่ต้องรอรุ่น thai Edition ครับ) การมีระบบอินเทอร์เฟชกับ ผู้ใช้ใหม่ที่คล่องตัวเข้าใจง่าย แต่ก็มีปัญหาพอสมควรเมื่อติดตั้งบนระบบปฏิบัติการภาษาไทย หลังจากติดตั้งแล้วเสร็จก็พบ ปัญหาบางประการคือ ไม่สามารถพิมพ์ข้อความภาษาไทยในโปรแกรมอื่นๆที่ไม่ใช่ของไมโครซอฟท์ได้ครับ และหากพยายามที่จะ Uninstall ออกจะทำให้ ฟอนต์ภาษาไทยบางตัวถูกลบออกจากระบบด้วยเช่นกัน ต้องลงใหม่ และผมจะเสนอแนวทางการแก้ปัญหาต่อไป
		วิธีการติดตั้งคือ 1. ดาวน์โหลดโปรแกรม setup มาก่อนและรันโปรแกรม setup เลือก option ต่างๆ ตามคำแนะนำ 2. ผมทำการติดตั้งโดยเลือก Option Thai support ด้วยจะขึ้นมาให้เลือกเอง 3. รอจนจบกระบวนการประมาณ 25-40 นาที แล้วแต่ความเร็วของเครื่องด้วย 4. ปรับแต่งและติดตั้งค่าต่างๆให้เหมาะสม และก็ท่องเที่ยวตามสบายครับ การแก้ปัญหาที่เจอดังข้างต้น ถ้ายังไม่ติดตั้ง IE 5.0 ลงไปให้ปฏิบัติดังนี้ 1. copy file Cp_874.nls และ charset.dat จากไดเรกทรอรี่ C:\windows\system\ เก็บในที่ปลอดภัย หรือแผ่นดิสก์เก็ต 2. ติดตั้ง IE 5.0 ตามขั้นตอนปกติ ทดลองใช้งานถ้าไม่เกิดปัญหาก็ไม่ต้องทำอะไรต่อ ถ้าเกิดดูต่อข้อถัดไป 3. ต้องบูตระบบ ไปที่ command Prompt โดยต้องไม่โหลดไฟล์ KEYBRD5.sys ควรบูตกับ Start Up Disk จะดีกว่า 4. ทำการ copy ไฟล์ทั้ง 2 ไฟล์ทับไฟล์เดิมที่มีอยู่ 5. บูตระบบขึ้นมาใหม่ ตรวจสอบการทำงาน สำหรับผู้ที่ลงไปแล้วและเกิดปัญหาแบบผมก็ทำคล้ายๆกันแต่แหล่งที่จะ copy file ทั้งสองก็คือเครื่องของเพื่อนๆ ครับ แต่ต้องตรวจสอบให้ แน่ชัดว่าระบบปฏิบัติการของเพื่อนเป็นรุ่นเดียวกับของเรา จากนั้นเครื่องของผมก็ใช้งานได้เป็นปกติ ไม่ต้องติดตั้งระบบปฏิบัติการใหม่นะครับ By: Khun Sanya K.
