Well, you know that when you go clubbing you don't give phone numbers to every stranger who talks to you, right! Ok, well maybe you do. That's not the point. The point is you need to use the same judgement in IRC (given that you're sober :))

I know most of us are big girls now and can take care of ourselves. Still some of us are new to the cyberspace dating and are not aware of split personality syndrome. As Chicks Online puts it, "Come on let's face it, who would be looking for mates in cyberspace if they are a lot more successful in the real world, eh?" Some guys are good on the monitor, but mental on the phone.

So beware. There have been reports of sexual harassment in #siam and #thailand. Don't get all excited now. Just be careful about whom who give your number to. For further infomation, watch the Bodyguard, the Juror and Baywatch (This one has nothing to do with perverts, but the guys in Baywatch are sure cute).

Again be careful, no one can really help you once you get harassed unless you have hard evidence. Ask around for advice. Perhaps, other girls may know something about the guy that you should know. Again your phone number is not a cooking recipe. It should not be passed around unless you are attracted to psychos. That's another story. :)

It has been 2 months since I wrote the above article. I haven't heard of any cases of telephone stalking since. I hope that it is a good sign. I hope it means that most #siamweblers are less gullible. I hope that it is not the case of victims not speak ing up. I had real life experience on sexual harassment. And a few things that I think could be applied here as in real life are: ignore that person, keep telling everyone you know about the person so that hopefully there are less victims, don't feel intimidat ed (or if you do, at least pretend that you don't), and finally do not easily trust someone. It is already hard to really know a person in real life, not to mention on IRC.

I have never had any problems regarding harrasment over the phone or in public for that matter, so I am unable to comment. But I do enjoy chatting on IRC and other chat links, the most enjotable is Comic Chat from Microsoft, check it out if you have some time.

I've had lots of sexual harrassments or crude comments from people on the net. The way I deal with these low lives (no offence to anyone) is to just tell them straight out "thanks but no thanks". Noone's gonna bug you less you let them. Put your foot d own and put them in their place. If that doesn't work then IGNORE it..it's not meant to be taken personally. It's only a computer right? Who knows who's behind that screen..it could be a kid..an adult..female..male..it's all role playing. You can be anyon e and practically say anything. Don't beleive and take everything seriously online..it's a waste. You're just getting yourself frustrated for no reason, but I'm not saying it's right to let perverts talk to you like an object either..just don't make a big deal of it and hopefully "it'll" go away. Not too harsh right? :-)

This is my story: 1. A girl called me many times to have a talk everydays. 2. I frequency was out because of my work, and I mearly disregarded her calls. She gave me her phone number as well, but I had never made he any call. 3. Then, she gave me a sexual talk and tried to talk to me but I refused. 4. Frist time I known him becoz my friend told me about him .. She said that he is a pilot of Thai airway. And my brother want to be a pilot too, so I want to know how can be a pilot.
