SUMMER IN BANGKOK
Almost everyone knows about my
summer in Bangkok, Thailand. I like to take this opportunity to thank
everyone that I met in Bangkok this summer. Thanks for such a wonderful
welcome and the hospitality. I like to thank pi Paul for setting up
the meeting at Siam Square. Thanks Por for the wonderful party at
his Condo. I thank pi Poo (Josie/Amari) for the dinner at Central
Plaza. Thanks Jeab, Nungie, Pim, for coming to eat ice-cream at Swenson
:)~ Who else am I forgeting... Gosh.. I met over 30 people this summer,
so hard to keep track of all of them. Last but most important, I like
to /\ thank pi Tiwa (MoMY) for his warm welcome and memorable hospitality.
I know everyone is wondering what happened to pi Tiwa and Gaewtar;
all I can say is, kwam ruk kong+ Gaewtar pae+ la-ya-trang. |
 INTRO....
SMSU is located in
a small city -- Springfield, MO. There are approximatly 18,000 students
here at SMSU, 375 are International Students. I'm sure that people that
read this page knows who I am, so I won't bored you guys with my SMSU
stories. I'm sure you guys heard enough of it in the past. Although, I
would like to have "Thai night" like in Ohio and other States. Hey Putt,
so when are you going to send me plane ticket to Ohio la?
All of you probably wonder who "DREW" is right now. I know Jeab, pi Poo,
Goy, Jew, and many other have ask me to send pictures of Drew and Gaewtar.
As a request, I would like to ask Putt to put Drew's picture on the Web
so everyone could access it. Gaewtar didn't want to pay for the stamps
:)) hehe j/k.
Drew and Gaewtar met
in late August. We had a class together. Oh.. before I forget, Drew is
American. He was born in Missouri. He's 6'1", light brown hair, and "BLUE"
eyes. I know what pi Poo is thinking.. "lucky me".. Since now I'm talking
to a teacher (pi Poo), he's a 4.0 eek daew+ na pi. Many of you ask me,
"why american?" Well.. I'll leave that for later topic.
FIRST
SMILE :)
Like many of you,
I don't like going to classes that I don't enjoy. Database happens to
be one of those class last semester. I skiped my first week of school
because of all my friends in Bangkok. Party hardy till the very last day
:) Anyway.. I came back to MO unmotivated because I had waaaayyy too much
fun in Thailand and didn't want to come back for school. I remembered
sitting in Database class and noticed this tall handsome guy with the
most awesome smile walked in (almost late) to class. Ever since then,
Database class seems to be a bit more challenging and enjoyable to me.
FIRST
CONVERSATION
I wanted to get to
know Drew better. Since he is so shy, I had to come up with a situation
where he can help me out. So.. I had a friend of mine call him up one
evening and ask him if he would mine tuitor me in Database. Of course,
knowing the geneous side of Drew he's willingly said yes.
Gaewtar went over to
his apt. one evening so he could help me with Database and to get to know
him a little bit better. By this time, Gaewtar already like him more and
more...
VALENTINE'S
THOUGHTS
Drew ja++++ Happy Valentine's Day honey. I still remember the very 1st
day I look up and notice your smile in Database class. Not only did you
help me through the class. You became my best friend. You light each day
of my life with your bright thoughtful smiles. Your adorable blue eyes
give me hope for our future together. Your soft touches comfort me like
I've never felt before. Your present makes my world spin. I like to thank
you for all the things you go out of your way to do for me. Scraping snow
off my car during cold winter morning. Taking me to the Dr. when I'm sick.
Bringing me soft tissue and vitamins in the middle of the night. Being
there for me when I need a friend to talk to. After a long interview in
Des Moine, coming back to Springfield and having you welcome me with flowers
and Drew's homemade cooking was the sweetest thing. All the memorable
romantic dates we had.. I just want to let you know that my heart is touch
by you. I'm honor and happy that this year I have you as my valentine
:)
