As 2004 approach, we’d like to present you with a New Year gift. - A gift of wicked wisdom.

“How to find inner peace under American imperialism”

Wicked quote.

"the West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact, non-Westerners never do."

- Samuel P. Huntington

As with most Thai people, I am a Buddhist by birth and a hypocrite by practice. That makes me fully qualified to give advice on how to find inner peace.

If you’re an American seeking inner peace, there are many books available on websites like amazon.com and bn.com for you,so don’t bother. This article is for people of the developing countries who wish to find inner peace under American imperialism.

Rule number 1. Understand that one must yield to American imperialism. No use bitching about it. So many people have gone down that path. And are they happy? Look at them.

They are only making their therapists richer.

Rule number 2. Support your local therapists and use local medication. If you’re going to pay a therapist, go to a Thai therapist and use a generic brand equivalence of Prozac.

Rule number 3. Be mindful of the present. AS long as no one is currently screwing you. You're fine. Don’t worry about who the Americans have already screwed. You can’t help them. Let others worry about international laws being broken. Really. What can you do about it? And forget about developing that nuclear weapon. You're gonna get us all killed.

Rule number 4. Practice ass kissing and learn how to do it effectively. The only thing between your lips and the Americans imperialist ass is your ego. Let go of it. Nothing is real. Soon Neo will come and rescue us from this horrible version of Matrix. If you find Rule number 4 hard to swallow, see Rule number 5.

Rule number 5: Follow our leader. There ain’t anyone in the Eastern hemisphere better than Thai PM, mr Taksin, as he led the Thai gov't in spending multi-billion baht, 20 country leaders ass smooching event. We'll do anyting to make an impression, even if it takes a 90,000 baht shirt to do it.

Rule number 6. Self-acceptance. Breath in. Breath out. While Americans youth are becoming vegetarians, buying yoga related items and eating Thai food, ours are in awe of all things American. Life is as such and there isn’t any use denying it. Resistance is not only futile, it’s unnatural.

Rule number 7: Always look on the brighter side. American supremacy has its benefits. Think about it. At least they bring us Britney Spears.

Rule number 8: Search deeper into your soul and you will find that it is not the average Americans who are trying to hurt us. It’s not even the U.S. government. It is the U.S. corporations. Search a level deeper and you will see that U.S. corporations are not really trying to hurt anyone at all, they are just looking out for their shareholders. Which brings me to the next rule on the path to inner peace.

Rule number 9: There is a spiritual solution to every problem. To deal with American supremacy, buy U.S. stocks.

Rule number 10: Everything that has a begining must have an end. Remember that the end is not only possible but inevitable. The matrix wisdom said so.

If after following all of these rules, you still cannot find inner peace. It should be obvious that you don’t have it.

This is not my opinion for sure. - amwalee
