Stir-fried Noodle in Soy Sauce (Pad See-iww)

Ingredients

  • Meat...any kind you like...such as shrimp,chicken and even tofu (if you are vegetarian) :)
  • Rice noodle 1/2 package
  • 1/2 cups sliced broccoli
  • 3 tablespoons of cooking oil
  • 2 groves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of black soy-sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of dried pepper (if desire)
  • Lemon or lime 1 slice
  • Dried chilli pepper...just 1 teaspoon
  • sugar about 2 tablespoons
  • Fish sauce 2 teaspoons

Preparation

  • Soak the noodle in a warm water for 15 minutes
  • Smash the garlic
  • Cut the meat, if you are using shrimp make sure the shrimps are shelled and clean.

Cook'em!!

  • In a frying pan put all the oil, brown the garlic until light brown.
  • Add the meat and cook until well done.
  • Put in the noodle, add black soy-sauce stir well until the noodle turn dark brown...
  • Add broccoli...turn over a few times.
  • Lift the noodle to one side, break in the egg, cover up with the noodle, Wait for 1-2 minutes for the egg to cook and then add fish sauce, sugar and stir well..
  • Place into a serving plate...sprinkle with the dried pepper and serve with slice of lemon is best
