Stir-fried
Chicken with Ginger (Gai pad khing)
Ingredients
- 2 T cooking oil
- 1/2 lb. Boneless chicken
breast, sliced
- 1 T Oyster sauce
- 1/4 c fresh young ginger
sliced
- 1 t sugar
- 1 T fish sauce
- 2 Large clove garlic minced
- 2 T green onion
- 1/4 c mushroom sliced
- 1 red bell pepper sliced
- 1 carrot sliced
- 1/2 onion sliced
Cook'em!!
- In pan, brown garlic with
oil, then add ginger root, stir in chicken.
- When chicken nearly cook
add red bell pepper, carrot, onion, mushroom, stir well.
- Add fish sauce, sugar,
oyster sauce. When mixed well...and chicken is done...sprinkle
with green onion.
