Crispy
Noodle (Mee Krob)
Ingredients
- 1 package Maifun (rice
sticks)
- 3 c oil for deep fry
- 1/3 c diced deep fried
tofu
- 1/4 c chopped green onion
- 1/2 lbs shrimp shelled,
cleaned and cut into small pieces
- 2 T cilantro
- 1 T finely chopped shallots
- 1 T lemon or orange peel
finely chopped
Sauce
- 2 T vinegar
- 2 T sugar
- 3 T Fish sauce
- 1 t tomato paste
Preparation
- Soak maifun in water for
15 minutes and drain.
Cook'em!!
- Fry maifun in hot iil until
puffed. Remove and set aside
- Heat 3 T oil in sauce pan.
stir in shrimp. Add shallots, diced tofu, and tomato paste.
- Combine remaining sauce
ingredients in sauce pan and reduce heat to thicken the sauce.
- Add nooldes to pan and
mix with sauce. Place on serving plate and top with green onion
and cilantro
- Enjoy it!
